Project Cost Management is a 80 minute on-line learning module that covers all aspects of project cost management as defined by The Association for Project Management (APM Body of Knowledge V6). The APM defines cost management as the estimation of costs, the setting of an agreed budget, and management of actual and forecast costs against that budget.

Using an interactive case study and engaging content the learner is guided through:

• Introduction to Cost Management
• Project Accounting
• Financial & Cost Management
• Budgeting and Control
• Change Control
• Project, Programme & Portfolio distinctions (P3)

Who is it aimed at?

The Project Cost Management Module is aimed at all those who need an appreciation of cost management in a project context. As one of the 3 critical aspects of project management (cost, schedule & quality) a good understanding is critical to project success.

At the end of the module the learner will understand cost management and its application throughout a project lifecycle. The module also provides the cost management content required for those planning to work towards a professional qualification.
